Ermanno Scervino on the Move

Catch the Star Vibe with its Spring/Summer 2010 Advertising campaign


Italian fashion brand Ermanno Scervino, which is exclusively carried by Hong Kong luxurious fashion house THE SWANK, starts its Spring/Summer 2010 season with an advertising campaign stems from a video. A new concept for brand communication based on three different sets to express three different female images; a selection of stills to become the press campaign and a short targeting new media.


Shot with a RED camera, the campaign images use stills from the video as pictures for the campaign; in our web based society, where everyone is looking for more and more motion images to capture their eyes, this seems to be the next wave for photography. The star is top model Helena Christensen, picked by the stylist to communicate an image that is more than just the cold model stereotype: a beautiful woman with intense expressive power, an icon in the fashion world.



The video was made in New York by filmmaker and photographer Francesco Carrozzini, who also provided his portraiture skills for the menswear campaign. The clip will also be the keystone for the new internet communication strategy kicking off in late February, with restyling of the ermannoscervino.it website and the brand’s first online advertising schedule.
